A Little About Our History
We started our Hondru family of dealerships back in 1981 when Peter Hondru bought Phillips Ford Sales in Manheim PA. Our dealership earned a reputation for exceptional service and and a no-pressure buying experience that attracted thousands of customers from nearby communities like Lancaster and Harrisburg PA. In 1987, Manheim Chrysler Plymouth was added to our dealership family and we grew even more when we added Elizabethtown Dodge in 1989.
In 1991, we added the GMC Truck franchise to our Manheim Chrysler dealership and we continued to build on our success with exceptional employees and loyal customers along with our reputation for honest and reliable service and sales. In 1998, we added E-Town Chevrolet Oldsmobile Pontiac, adding one of the largest fleet departments in Pennsylvania and one of the best body shops in the region.
